Liberté, egalité et qualité on the streets of Paris
The high quality of Océ printing was recently on display in Paris. A partnership between Océ and roving artist extraordinaire Titouan Lamazou resulted in a major exhibition at the Musée de l’Homme. The show featured striking, large format images depicting the social and political environment of women across the globe.
Extraordinary artist
As well as being a professional yachtsman, Titouan Lamazou is an extraordinary artist. For the past six years he has traveled the world drawing, painting and photographing women. The result was Femmes du Monde (Women of the World), an exhibition of over 200 portraits at the Musée de l’Homme in Paris. These remarkable images communicate the diverse experience of contemporary women.
Museum-quality printing
Océ Display Graphics Systems were used to print the large format photos shown in Femmes du Monde. They were also used to produce the banners and posters advertising the exhibition. These promotional materials were on display throughout the French capital, demonstrating Océ’s beyond-the-ordinary expertise in wide format color printing to a huge audience.
Extensive media coverage
During the exhibition’s five-month run, Femmes du Monde received substantial coverage in the French media. Numerous reports and articles featured the advertising banners and posters during the event.
