Will your next TV screen be printed?
Mention inkjet and most people immediately think of printing on paper. But Océ is taking inkjet beyond the ordinary. At an innovation center in the Netherlands, we are working with other pioneers to develop inkjet applications for high tech manufacturing.
Beyond paper
A major part of Océ’s R&D operation focuses on inkjet technology. As a result, it can be used to print on more than just paper. Inkjet can be used on media like glass, textiles and even 3D objects. But it also has huge potential for applications in high tech manufacturing.
High-tech environment
As a print technology pioneer, Océ aims to take inkjet applications into completely new areas. So we set up the Océ Inkjet Application Center at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. In this groundbreaking environment, we work with other innovative companies to develop industrial applications for inkjet.
Open innovation
By sharing knowledge, experience and resources with partners, we aim to create new business opportunities based on inkjet technology in manufacturing processes totally unrelated to traditional "printing" of information. The possibilities are endless:
- Printed circuit boards
- LED screens
- DNA chips
- Micro optics
- Food decoration
- Clothing
Who knows, your next TV screen may be printed by Océ.
